Who we are and what this covers

This policy explains how FitHealth Ltd ("FitHealth", "we") handles personal data collected through this website (fithealthltd.com). It does not cover the FitHealth mobile app, which has its own privacy policy inside the app — this website never collects or processes health information. We comply with Ghana's Data Protection Act, 2012 (Act 843).

What we collect

  • Information you submit — when you use our contact form or provider application: your name, email, phone number, and, for providers, business details such as business name, location, and license or registration numbers.
  • Technical data with submissions — the page you submitted from, your browser's user-agent string, and your IP address (used solely for abuse and spam prevention).
  • Analytics — we use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics (Plausible) that collects aggregate usage statistics only. It does not identify you and does not track you across sites.

What we use it for

  • Responding to your messages and inquiries.
  • Reviewing and processing provider applications, including verifying licenses with the relevant regulators.
  • Preventing spam and abuse of our forms.
  • Understanding aggregate site usage to improve the site.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Who we share it with

Form submissions are stored on Google Firebase (Firestore) and lead notifications are delivered via Resend (email). Both act as data processors under our instructions. Spam protection is provided by Cloudflare Turnstile. We share provider credentials with the relevant professional regulators (for example the Pharmacy Council or the Medical and Dental Council) only as part of verification, and we disclose data where the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Contact messages and applications are kept for as long as needed to handle your inquiry or maintain our business relationship, and are then deleted or anonymized. You can ask us to delete your data at any time (see your rights below).

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act, 2012 you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to ask us to correct or delete it, and to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@fithealthltd.com. You may also lodge a complaint with Ghana's Data Protection Commission.

Cookies

This website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Our analytics are cookieless. Essential functionality (such as spam protection) may set strictly necessary cookies only.
